Undressing characters.

I am looking at Everyday 2 Undress Poses and Clothes for Genesis 8 Female(s). I am wondering if it would be possible to use the Transfer Utility to copy the morphs to other clothing and Bone Minion to finish.
I need to be able to show my characters, a mix of Genesis to GF8, in stages of undress or getting dressed.
Thanks.

Probably not as they would not be made to open - a morph can't split mesh that is connected.
Technically you can but you may not get the same undressed results in most cases because different garment has different design, geometry, weight (esp. G1/G2 have TriAx..).
Take ED2 shirt as an example, a doable way is to find a very similar shirt in terms of above-mentioned from other Genesis, use TU to transfer your favorate morph targets from ED2 shirt to it. Dial the pose and morphs. If 'undressed fit' is not that good, convert / tweak the weight, use Mesh Grabber , Goz or blender to fix the geometry. I used to convert some stuffs in such a way.
Just a quick example: Casual Cool for G2F, transferred the morphs from a ED2 Pose - Remove Shirt 03,gave it a couple of drags by Mesh Grabber:
That capri pants will not work in this way as its geometry is 'welded' (belt, buckle, fly...). The undressed morphs cannot split it but just distort it as Richard said, even if you delete the related geometry (the weight will be lost at the same time):
In this case, I'd rather make undressed morphs out of Daz...
I believe Fit control does this
I don't own it because my 3D people stay dressed but it's popular

Fit control can only 'partially undress' on 'certain body parts', just sort of 'drag 'n push', relatively limited~~
That is the add-on bundle, first one needs to get the actual Fit Control for the figures one needs.
Yeah, Fit Control is another utility I bought but hardly ever use. I have a well-oiled production line to and from Blender to make all my clothing morphs and there is hardly a new item of clothing that escapes the morphing cycle. I do wish that more clothing creators would consider making zippers that unzip and shirts that open, however. Even if they don't include morphs, having the geometry ready for morphing would be a great help. I know that a big problem would be buttons and having them remain in place requires extra work so shirts can be tricky, I guess.
