Help with moving files to a new drive: Figures won't load morphs anymore
Today I had to move all of my Daz files to a new drive to keep room on my SSD. I moved every Daz file to the D drive from the C drive. Everything loads flawlessly, no pop ups are telling me that files are missing... except the sliders/morphs aren't loading in properly.
1. If I load a DUF file, it will load the character, scenery, lights and everything perfectly. However it only loads the morphs used in that specific scene. Each figure will be missing every single slider and morph that was not used.
2. If I load the default Genesis figure (doesn't matter which one, 1, 2, 3, 8, male, female, etc) it'll have absolutely zero morphs and sliders aside from the default ones.
3. I changed the content directory manager to look up my files on the D drive, but that doesn't fix the morphs/sliders not loading properly.
4. When trying to load a preset character from the Director (like Elsa for Genesis 8) it'll load the character's skin/textures, but no shape or anything slider related.
5. There are no error messages or warnings of missing files.
Does anyone know what step I missed and what can be done to get the sliders/morphs to load properly again?

Check the log file to see what it says after you load a character. If the morph files are where they are supposed to be, they are available, and their controllers are created. I don't think missing morph files at load time will trigger an error, they are just not available, as you have noted. Do you have some utility to disable morphs, like Turbo Loader?
Somehow I ended up getting it to work 2 seconds ago. I reinstalled Daz from scratch, and just started adding tons of folders to the Content Directory Manager (under Other Import Formats), didn't set up the cloud content sync feature, and it started working again. I loaded a character up like you said and for the first time in days every morph properly loaded.
You only need to set the DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats (for older stuff) to point to the respective libraries (usually the same for both). Other Formats is used for, well, other formats, like OBJ, for example. Neither the DAZ Studio Formats nor the Poser Formats paths in the Content Library will display any other than their native formats, so it is handy for importing those OBJ files directly instead of hunting them down every time.
How do you load everything onto an external?
usually I only worry about the daz and poser formats, but that wasn't working this time. I tried setting up their paths a dozen times and it still wouldn't load all of the morphs
