 I have just completely reloaded my operating system, windows 10 home, because my computer is reasonably old I install Daz studio using install manager instead of Daz central.

When I load Daz Atudio to use it I have no content, althogh according to Install Manager it has been, I get this error message at the start.

A valid PostgreSQL CMS connetction could not be established, several Daz Studio features That require a valid PostgreSQL CMS connection,

such as context aware content views and loading content installed using Daz connect service will not be available.

Check your network anti-virus and firewall settings for conflicts.

If anyons could help me in this matter, it would be greatly appreciated, I have this problem on both of my main computers.

As the message says, check that your antivirus and firewall have not blocked postgreSQL from running or even being installed. You wouldn't be the first to have that happened. So perhaps try disabling your firewall and AntiVirus and use DIM to reinstall PostgreSQL and see if that fixes it.

Also, bear in mind that if PostgreSQL was not available when re-installing your content then you'll have to go to COntent DB Maintenance and reimport all the metadata to populate Smart Content.

First, make sure you've installed PostgreSQL CMS and the database service is started. Open Install Manager and check that 'database icon' :

If you're not able to start database service, disable you anti-virus, firewall etc. and retry~~

Products' metadata could be written to database as long as the cms service has been started:

If you cannot find the products in Smart Content. Start cms service first! Then reinstall the products , or re-import the metadata by using Content DB Maintenance~
