any idea how I can remove these unwanted clothing bits?

So I just want to use the white panties for this G8F character but the trouble is the product doesn't allow you to use the panties and top seperatley, its one item. I've done the next best thing which is to make as much as the clothing above the waist invisible with some progress but as you can see in the screenshots there are spikey shards of clothing above the panties waistline which I can't make invisible so my task is just to remove these clothing bits somehow. Any idea's?

    Is there a particular reason you want to use this instead of one of the billions of standalone panties out there?

    It would really help if you listed what the actual product that you're dealing with is, as otherwise folks will just be guessing what options you might have.  That said, since the panties are already a lace item, the odds are good that the lace patern is created with an opacity map.  If that's so, simply blacking out the white parts on the opacity map where the flowered cloth shows should do the trick.
