Converter G8 to G9

Hi,

I just wanted to know if anyone knew of a content creator currently working on a G8/G8.1 to G9 character converter ?

That's a good question.

It isn't worth looking for a creator to do this work of conversion.

not worth it ?  That video shows how to convert the shape  not the textures , I think we all have fav G8/8.1 textures and shapes we would like to use on G9 with little to no effort.

I think you can apply a V8 or V9 texture after the transformation of the shape (G8 to G9), with of course some small defects.
If you find a flaw in your texture, you can use Photoshop to correct it. Beforehand, you can use a test chart (in the shape of a numbered checkerboard) to find out where you need to make your correction.

That said, there is a DS4 script (for sale on another site which I will not mention here) which allows 90% of the work necessary for the conversion to be carried out. The remaining work is to correct the imperfections.
Personally, I haven't tried this product because I only buy DAZ or Renderosity products.
