Adding o tool to the DAZ studio toolbar

Hi,

How can I add a tool (Mesh Grabber) to the main tool bar (the tool bar on the GUI starting with Clear, Open an existing file, merge an existing file, etc...)?  As a matter of fact, how can I delete an item or move it?

  • Window>Workspace>Customise. The tools are on the left, the toolbars are in a tab on the right - drag-and-drop from left to right to add, right-click on an item on the right to be able to remove it.

    Hi,

I tried that.  I went to window/workspace/customize.  On the right pane, I went to the "toolbars" tab, opened it ond was able to put in "Mesh Grabber".  I clicked on "Apply" and nothing happened.  I then clicked "Accept" without anything happening.  I closed DAZ Studio and restarted it and again, nothing happened.

I am usibg Studio 4.21.0.5 (the latest version) on a Win 7 computer. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you edited the right tool bar?

As mentioned above: Press F3 (assigned by default) or use the menu. However...  the first thing you should be doing before adding anything is to check what toolbars are actually in use. In the "Activities" tab you'll see your activity sections. Expand the one you're using, then expand the "toolbars" section and then check which one(s) are enabled.

After that open the "Toolbars" section and apply the changes you need.

In fact, you may even want to create your own toolbars and add those. But yeah, a good customization here can really help you get more work done.
