I just bought a new computer and my old computer also has a 3090 in it. Is there any benefit to installing both cards?
I'm thinking of selling my old PC but I don't know if it's worth it to keep the old one to install in the new computer.

As long as it will fit and the PSU will feed it it will boost the speed of your renders (as long as they still fit the base memory of the cards). It is possible to pool memory for materials only, with a speed penalty, using an nvLink bridge if the cards will take one and you can track one down, but then the limiter may be system memory (the usual advice is about three times the video memory to take full advantage, but I'm not sure if that wholly applied for pooling across two cards).
Thank you. I think I'll probably sell it. The render time I have is VERY good. I really appreciate it.
Curious, why get a new PC with a 3090 when you already have a PC with a 3090? That 3090 is the main factor for fast renders in DS. so it is hard to imagine the new PC being much, if any faster
I got a new computer that has a 16 core processors and 128 GB of RAM. My old computer was a 8 core processor and 32 GB of RAM.
Something that took 3-5 minutes to render now takes about 1-2 minutes. I'm able to produce a lot more content for my clients.
Understood and congrats on the new PC. Why not go with a better GPU in the new build then?
