Weird issue with saved files and my figure's body size
Hey guys, i'm haivng a really weird issue with my saved files and i have no idea why it happened or how to fix it
when i open my saved files from a certain folder, all the bodies on my characters have changed, their body size/mass/muscles seemed to have increased, and i litterally have changed nothing, just opened the saved file and noticed the changes right away, i haven't moved any sliders or done anything but opened the file. i haven't worked on these files in months, but when i stopped working on them last everything was fine and the way i wanted it.
i''ve attached a few examples of the changes, the original files are the ones where the bodies are smaller, and when i open the files today i get the versions where the bodies are bigger, and some clothing doesn't fit right
i haven't checked every single file in this folder, but the ones i have opened (about 30) all have these changes. i also checked some files in a seprate render folder and they seem to be unchanged/dont have this issue.
has anyone ever seen anything like this? can anyone help?
i want to point out again that i didn't change anything, i just opened the file and these changes were there. how could there be changes in all 204 files if i haven't even opened them in months?
i'm using Daz version 4.16.0.3, but i did open a few files in another, newer version of Daz and the issues where there as well.

Sounds like you have installed some morph which is distributed with non-zero default value.
Which base character are they using?
Hey!
so there can be a morph that can be applied without you doing it manually?
and they are all Gen 8 characters, sorry i should have mentioned that
Yep. When you load a figure then all compatible morphs are loaded and "applied". Obviously you'd like to hope that all those morphs are set to zero by default but sometimes they are distributed with other values for the default. There was a new product from Daz that was doing this very recently so it is not a completely unusual situation.
The easiest way to see which morph is to blame is to load the default G8M and check out their "Currently Used" morphs. Info on fixing this can be found here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/5724606/#Comment_5724606
If it's a Daz product then you can report it via a Support ticket. If it's a third-party product then you can try and report it to whichever store/PA you got it from.
thank you so much!
i'm still new, and learning Daz, i can say i am not a fan of these characters/morph that get pre-loaded lol, but thank you, that was the issue, i loaded a base figure and found the character/morph that was being loaded, i removed him from my library and everything is back to normal now. i apprecaite you taking the time to help
