Gen 8 Gens Not Conforming Properly or Giving Reddish Ghost Tint in Render
Just ran into another phase of geoshells improperly fitting to G8 characters that perplexes. I'm familiar with the recent difficulties applying third party anatomical shells etc. and have largely restricted their use, but now I'mthis morning I ran into an issue where the G8 Base Female Gens aren't conforming properly to the figure, even before applying body shaping or on characters that have previously been successfully fitted, The 'grey' base of the gens show the lack of conforming; when rendering, textures on areas that are not concealed by the misfit from long tested DA venders have a reddish 'ghost glow'...
Haven't tersted the male gens as yet.
I haven'r changed any hardware, and updated to the most recent Nvidia drivers to no effect. Seems like there's always something new to address. Wish the older figures would perform as well as they did in the past. Should have left 4.16 on a machine.
Thanks in advance!

What tool do you have selected currently? A typical reason for polygons which should be hidden by a geograft to be visible anyway is that you have the geometry editor tool selected (in that case the whole mesh is supposed to show as the geometry editor enables you to edit which polygons will be hidden).
I occasionally see "elements" given a red tinge if their surface has the "Thin Walled" property set to "Off" when the rest of the torso is "On".
Thanks leanna - i'll make sure the geo ed isn't selected. i use it so seldom...:)
Thanks chris - I'll check and also - i got a prompt to Install or Stip Genesis 8 Rssentials which were never uninstalled. Might need an update..
Re-installed Essentials and Gen 8 goodies loaded fine...thanks for the ideas folks, they'll come in handy.
