Dforce hair passes through plane. Help please!

Help please!
No matter what I do, the dForce hair still passess through the plane (2048 divisions). It even passes though a couch/sofa/bed

    I applied the pose first and then applied the hair then ran the simulation.  "Start Bones from Memorized Pose" Off.

    What felis is asking is whether the hair is already clipping through the plane before you simulate.

    I think the question was whether the hair was above the plane in the starting pose.

    Just dial the morphs of the hair to make it above the plane, i.e. no clipping thru the plane before simulation. Or use the timeline to sim, i.e. make the firgure fall from a higher position to avoid the clipping...

    Update: Finally figured how to make it work. Need to keep changing poses. Apply DForce each time :(
