Windows 11 nightmare

Ive just bought a new laptop with win11 and installed everything with DIM. However, Ive discovered that M$ has sneaked onedrive folders in throught the backdoor and it seems to have hijacked my content. Ive got over 3000 files installed but the smart content pane only shows 200? Could it be windows tampering or something else? Any advice greatly appreciated.
