If I make a model of something and I want to keep it in Daz or share it, how do I do that...? Thanks for any help.

my answer is "it depends", because there are multiple things you can do
the short and quickest way is
File>Save as > Support Asset > Figure / Prop Asset
when you share the asset you will need the "Data" folder content to make this work in Studio for Distribution.
I tend to work in Blender and find importing the OBJ works well for what I need, I save the OBJ in a folder and once it's loaded into a Studio scene you need the folder with the original OBJ in the same location as it was loaded from so I don't provide the scene, just the OBJ. This method allows me to distribute the OBJ to users on several 3D platforms, not just Studio.
