Hello,
Please forgive me if this has been expounded upon in various other discusions. I tried looking for them and they came up blank for some reason for me.
Here is my environmrnt.
Mac Yosemite
Daz Studio 4.8
My Content directory in DS say "ALL" but I can't click it to show me all my products. I tried deinstalling DS and all the DS products through the product install/de-installer hoping that might reset something but no luck there. I have attached a screen shot with my "Content Directory Manager" settings. Hopefully it's something I am not doing correctly.
Thanks,
Randy

Here's a snapshot of my DS saying "All" with nothing below it.
Still no selections are showing up on the left side of DS. I even tried removing and reinstalling the PostgreSQL CMS through the install manager. Any suggestions as to how I get this functionality back?
Thanks....
It is interesting though that I have a Windows installation of Daz Studio (latest version) and the content shows up over there on the left side of the DS window.
CMS (Content Management Service) is either not working or the database has been corrupted. In the Content Library pane Categories and Products still rely on CMS. Does you content show under DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats in Content Library pane?
It certainly looks like a CMS problem. Do you see anything in the Content Library tab under the Products or Categories sections? These views and the Smart Content tab are connected, if one fails usually they all fail.
Note that going through the "uninstall-reinstall" dance doesn't reset anything. The Smart Content tab display is not a view of your actual content files (like the Content Library tab), it's driven by a database which is stored separately from the D|S program and all your content, and it is not affected by reinstalling — if your database has a problem, the problem will still be there after you've finished reinstalling everything. The only thing that affects the database is the database controls on the options button of the Content Library tab (not the Smart Content tab).
You've got nothing under the "Poser Formats" section. This should be exactly the same as the folder settings under the "DAZ Studio Formats" section.
In Daz Install Manager, on the "Ready to Install" tab, check the "Show Details" box in the lower right and post a screenshot. I'm not on a Mac, but I think the path you have listed in Daz Studio is incorrect -- you have "Users/Shared/My DAZ 3D Library", and I think it should be "Users/Shared/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library".
