Ghost Lights - how to get them to work nowadays?

Im posting this thread as there are too many threads to sift through to glean info.
This fix doesnt work for me. Im using Daz release version 4.21.0.5. When following that process linked (method B for example), I get an error after trying to run the second script "Add Iray Ghost Light Factor Property" (which i attached)
Log file literally just states the obvious.
Am i supposed to use the Beta or something?

I haven't tried the scripts. What I've been doing is not making the geometry quite as invisible* as once it was [and keeping it out of the camera's line of sight], and adjusting the amount of light which varies per scene.
* instead of 0.000001, try 0.001 or 0.002.

Nevermind, the second script 'Add Iray Ghost Light Factor Property' doesnt even seem to be necessary to get the effect...
Just adding the first script and then turning off Iray Visible to Primary Rays seems to work
Adding a new thread is hardly helping others to sift through looking for an answer.
Note the title of the thead https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/609556/creating-a-ghost-light-daz-studio-4-21-1-26 - this is for 4.21.1.26 or later, 4.21.0.5 is an older version.
Well the original thread was closed for comments so options were limited regards to continuing the discussion.
Also, in this thread, i offered a solution, at least to my own problem. For others looking for fix, they can review my post above for possible answer to their problem.
I realise 4.21.1.26 is a bigger number than 4.21.0.5 but I couldnt find any other reference to a solution for the general release build 4.21.0.5 , which is the current version i think? (if i could i wouldnt have started a new thread about it).
The second one seems to hide the ghost light in a mirror, if you only use the first one, you will see the light in a window.
