Kalasiris – old egyptian gown

I think there is a general lack of old egyptian costumes on DAZ 3D. When I saw the product “Fantasy Wrap for Genesis 3 Female(s)” (https://www.daz3d.com/fantasy-wrap-for-genesis-3-female-s) by Daz Originals, Mada and Sarsa, I instantly felt reminded that this could easily become a starting point for the old egyptian gown style called Kalasiris. Only beneath the breasts it would need to become a kind of sheath-like gown, other than the loose strips of  “Fantasy Wrap for Genesis 3 Female(s)”. So maybe one of these artists might be so kind to produce a Kalasiris product????

It would be nice to see an updated version for newer figures.

Hi Leana,

you're absolutely right with your comment and your suggestion of the "Nefertari for Stephanie Petite". I have used that one already, but firstly, I feel it does not look very realistic (too plastic and doll like, no wrinkles, no bump and normal maps) and secondly, it also - as you indicated - does not conform good enough to newer figures. By the way, although the "Nefertari for Stephanie Petite" as such is not really convincing, it seems to be based on a real costume from ancient egypt, as can be seen on the last of my uploaded images.

So in general, I would like to see many many more old egyptian clothing styles on DAZ3D. For most of the ancient antetypes a real cloth simulation software is needed though as I have already experienced by myself. But since I am not good enough in sculpting and modeling, I wished some nifty other people would like to do that and earn some money with their products ...
