Help Requests are getting marked solved with no solution again

barbultbarbult Posts: 24,240

Once again, some of my help requests have been marked SOLVED and closed for comment. There was no customer service response to the ticket to indicate that anything was fixed. So you might want to check your help requests to see if this happened to you, too.

It may be one of those things where the system just sporadically closed a bunch of tickets on its own like has happened in the past but we will enquire. Can you give us some ticket numbers please?

I'm thankful that this system does not (yet ) control the world's nuclear arsenal.

That is reality for every software/hardware business I've ever been employed by. DAZ will be no different. They need to focus on getting the initial release sound.

@frank0314 Did Daz reply with an explanation?

In this case, the title could also be "How to improve your productivity score without doing any work".

After reading this I checked the one I've had open since June last year. Thankfully it's still open.
It's in the bug tracker as a product fault. So hopefully it will get fixed some day.

And now it is happening again. Two of my requests were marked solved in the last few days, but nothing was ever done to fix the problem.

I'm waiting for my ticket from last year to get marked solved. I'm not supporting the Horse 3 anymore till it's fixed.

This is how it's done now: Kafka runs the support department.

I gave Horse 3 a chance, stupidly believing they'd replace his toupee as they'd hinted before his release, but that didn't happen. And Design Anvil's mane looks like a 50's doo-wop singer's permanent slicked with pomade (albeit with more movement); perhaps the new shaders will remedy this.

They more than "hinted" about that horse hair IMO. I also submitted a help request about Horse 3 things that never came to fruition. Lesson learned: don't rely on Daz pre-order statements about future enhancements or added content. It either shows up late or not at all.

Just don't open horsey's mouth and bend it's ears. It's upper palate/upper teeth go all funky and it distorts the halter and reins on several of the DH3 outfits. So I guess a fix would be to do nothing and instead try and convert the outfits to the Horse 2 which I have done with limited success
