Shaders Base Textures and maps, yup I'm lost.

So part of the problem here is I don't know what to go search for cause simply I don't know what the hell I am doing.
What I am attempting to do is use the Dystopian City blocks, select on of the materials, say the street. Then apply one of the DAZ Uber IRAY shaders to it and not have it just become a solid block of gold/diamond etc, and then set one of the other maps back so it has the pavement look and feel to it with the new texture applied, to the base layer to give it texture. Can I do this or am I totally off in left field?

When you apply the shader hold down the Ctrl key (Command on MacOSX) and sert Maps to Ignore. That will keep the original texture maps.
I attached two file, the original with just the lights modified (of no concern) and the second where the shader applies but can't the the map to come though.
Well second never uploaded but Mike thanks!!!!! Is there an easy way to edit how much the base layer/image shows though??? I didn't even know you could do that. (Clearly) Thank you so much.
I had a look at this one.The seet doesn't come with bump maps, but the texture for the street is more or less black and white anyway.
So I applied the gold iray shader as Mike suggested, then I added the base texture to the "Base Bump" slot and turned the slider to 5
I also set the Verticle and Horizontal tiles to 10 for both
Is this what you wanted for the street surface?
Oh cool, I will try that next, yes similar to that is what I was going for, I now have two methods to play with for results here. Will experiment and post some results.
