New Character a Week Promo ???

What is that and what does it do? Is there some sort of promation with it? The deal on todays sales promos goes to a thread about rendering, so no idea what the characters are or why.

There is a new DO character each week and if you buy one, you get discount on the next one. Today's character is Lawrence and if one bought Julia, one gets extra 20% banner discount.
There is also a render challence in which one can win store credit with a render that is using these DO characters (Julia and Lawrence)

Thank you. So that leaves me out of the game. I didnt buy Julia, and this one too expensive. I fell off the always buying wagon and now the prices are too high to even think about it.

Yeah, I did get Julia, but this one I will pass... Now that MM is over, the discounts are just not there unless one uses 8 tokens and then one would need to buy $80+ worth, not to loose any tokens in the process.
There is just not enough interesting stuff that I would want to fill that $80+ cart
