Content Without Texture Templates

I have started to avoid buying content without texture templates. Reason is I don't feel like it's worth the price and I've not gotten what was paid for the content.

The templates are in the Product Library now.

Yes *only* if they include textures. Below are only a few of many examples. Marked "YES" if there are templates included and "NO" if there are none. All 3 listed are from different and very good Artists. I do wish everyone would include templates. One of the "NO"s has a Genesis 2 version which makes no mention of templates being included. I won't buy it to find out.

YES Short Sleeve Shirt Dresses for Genesis 2 Female(s) - SKU:22761

NO  Skinny Jean Outfit for Genesis 3 Female(s) - SKU:22751

NO  Sunday Casuals: Basics for Genesis 3 Female(s) - SKU:22829

Please correct me if I'm wrong about the 2 "NO"s. They seem to be full products and not "add-ons".

  • If you find products without templates, please report them so that can be corrected.  You can submit a ticket.  We will pass along the information if we find it in the forums, but please remember, we may not catch everything, so a ticket is more dependable.

Good to know. Should I report them to "General Feedback", "Sales" or where? I've not noticed the products in forums but imagine some are announced/shown here. Should I report any freebies and PC+ items for extremely low prices? I really can't be too dissapointed with these.

    Thanks Cris,

Since finding that some, perhaps a lot, are not a seperate download from the "product library" and are installed elsewhere so have decided not to report anything until I track down where they might have ended up. The ones I found are mostly in a folder, runtime?, where subfolders are located one of which contains the "names of artists"/"name of product" where you can find a "templates" folder, also folders for "textures" and other things used.

The ones I can't and have yet to find there may be elsewhere or not at all. I'll have to check to see if the unfound suspected templates location might be hinted at in the the products readme.

Locating them sounds like a good chore for cold winter days when I'm not busy with something else... probably not often.
