I have a G3M. When put in a scene it looks like the image attached.

But if I start a new file, and put the character, it looks normal.

What's wrong with it?

It's definitely a wrong tiling, select his Face surface for instance, check Horizontal / Vertical Tiles in Surfaces pane..

    checked, default value : 1

Weird... is there a geoshell or sth. on the figure or sth. like anatomical elements with geoshells?

Like the attached shot~ it's a wrong tiling on the shell... Pls check the sub-nodes under the figure's primary root...

    Well, on my attached images,
all elements under the primiry figure has vertical and horizontal value of 1.
If there were diffrent values it will be shown as <?>, right?

Besides, the figure (Sub scene) will be totally fine if  loaded in a new file.
This problem occures only when loaded on an already made by me scene
    which is weird.

In fact no matter value I throw at the tiles, the result is the same.

If you click the namo-thumbnail for one of the images applied (probably base colour, next to the colour chip for the property) and open the Image Editor dialogue from the menu (not the Layered Image Editor) theer will be tiling settings there. Those image settings are used for the whole scene for that image - if there is already something in the scene using that map, with tiling set, then that is the value that will be used for the character; if not, as in a clear scene, then it will use its original values.

When i click the image editor of the diffuse color, there's a message say, "You must have an image already applied to use this action"

    then the character turns white.

Yes, it needs to be a property with a map. But Diffuse Colour suggests it is a 3Delight, if you have 3delight materials applied you won't be able to edit individual maps' tiling.

But it should have a map, cause it's the base G3M.

The shader is : AoA_Subsurface (RSL)

I don't know what shader that is.

How to change it to iray?

That's the Age of Armor 3Delight shader, as the default shader for G3 base figures. You may convert it to Iray Uber shader by following the attached screenshots. Then tweak the params as needed.

As for the issue only incurred when loading to the 'already made' scene, you may try:

    - Opt1: Save another Scene Subset including the existing objects in the Scene before loading the Figure !  Then Ctrl + N, first load the Subset you just saved, then load the Subset of this figure (or vice versa), see if it's OK or not...
    - Opt2: After loading the figure into a 'fresh new scene', you save a Material Preset of the figure, then apply the preset to the figure with the above problems, see if it's OK or not...
    - Opt3: You try the script I attached, which came from Daz official. It's used for Clearing Undo Stack (unused textures in the stack of RAM will be cleared). So before loading the figure into the scene, you execute the script first, see if that helps or not...

Anyway, there're quite a few ways you may try...

Opt 1 is the only that works.

    Thank you for the suggestions
