    see the nvidia forum

this was from sep 2022, so I guess not soon, if at all......

  • USD export is still on my TODO list.

I don't understand why DAZ does not seem interested at all in connecting its users to all of the amazing things that are shaping up in the rest of the 3D world.

I could speculate as to the reason why, but it's against the TOS, but I will say that there may yet be hope as we are still a bit off from DS5, who knows what that will bring?

I hope you do work on USD export.

It's also in NVIDIA's interest to create "connectors" when there is no USD support.  So hopefully one or the other happens.

I am wondering if the hype of USD format is justified.  It certainly looks impressive, especially in the Omniverse demonstrations.

These days I do a lot of work in the USD space, and as far as I can tell, it seems like the best of both worlds of FBX and OBJ.

I put in a request to DAZ Support for USD export in August of 2019.
