Export a figure covered in hair as an OBJ (with hair included)

Does anyone know how to export Sasquatch figure as an OBJ so the hair is included? I can export the OBJ but it is just the figure.

Any ideas?

You can't. Why the obj file format nominally includes line objects that can be used for hairs no program actually implements it in a way that allows you to transfer hair (if it is implemented at all)

Technically you can, generate Line Tessellation first in Viewport before export... but what's the purpose of doing so ?  If you wanna make some morphs for the fur and import them back to Ds, you'll never make it as they're all strand-based hair...

Set line tesselation to 0 and the figure exports with the hair as splines/curves/whatever terminology you want to use. I do this all the time to convert dForce hair to C4D and Houdini's native hair systems.

I'm looking to import it into another program where I can add stone textures like a statue. It would be great if he hair shape was there so it didn't look like a shaped ape.

Maybe I export from Daz to Bender and then export again?

Hmm~ you may try but such the fur may look not so good as a 'statue'. wink You need to set the Line Tesselation to 2 at least otherwise there'll be no 'face' on it,  then there'll be no fur with texture in Blender.
