Autofit G8.1F to G8F?

Is there a workflow - or a utility - that allows one to fit clothing intended for G8.1F to G8F? I didn't realize there was even an issue, since there is only a .1 version difference, but I'm trying to load one of Lali-K's bodystockings onto a G8F character, and it says the clothing is not intended for it - and it also does not offer G8.1 as the figure it was made for, so I have to use G3F, and of course the arms don't line up.

    Edit the scene identification of the 8.1 clothing item and change Compatibility Base from Genesis 8.1 Female to Genesis 8 Female.

    Then fit to G8F as normal and you should not get a pop-up.

    It doesn't offer 8.1 as the donor figure because while 8.1 is backward-compatible with 8, 8 is not natively forward-compatible with 8.1. You could try the Scene Identification trick:

    1. Load the stockings without fitting to your G8
    2. With the stockings selected in the Scene pane, click the three-lined "hamburger" icon at the top-left of the Scene pane and go to Edit -> Scene Identification
    3. Change "Preferred Base" from G8.1F to G8F and hit Accept
    4. Fit the stockings to your G8F.

    Also this is an excellent freebie to get your G3 poses to work with G8/8.1!
