DAZ Studio and other DAZ software not shown for standard user on Win 10

I installed DAZ Studio with the administrator user, but when I go to the standard user DAZ folder is not shown on the Start menu (Windows 10 fresh install). The folder and all the voices are present in the Admin user. The program is installed in the right folder under C:\Program Files. Installed using DIM and Daz Central. Why aren't the Menu voices present for the normal user? Has something gone wrong with the installation process?

    What do you mean by voices?

    The Start menu can have local and global values, I suspect that - by the way DIM works or because of some local system factor, such as security software - the entries for Daz applications are being made as user-specific. Can you run the application by double-clicking on it's file in Programme Files? If you right-clcik on the application file you should see a Pin to Start option, or you can copy it and then paste a shortcut (right-click menu) into

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\

    or a sub-folder of your choice for the standard user.

    Funny thing about DIM: you cannot run it with elevated permissions, at least not on Windows. Ergo... if you used another account then I'll bet the installation was also focussed on that one specific account which is probably why you cannot access it from yet another.

    Instead of using DIM you can manual install on the windows public folder. Otherwise each user will only see his own documents as usual in windows. Then I believe the DAZ EULA doesn't allow shared content anyway.

    Content is installed to the public docuemnts folder by default, and application/plug-in installations are done (of course) with elevated privileges by the DIMHelper component.

    I like to run my regular user without admin rights. So, I usually install with a separate Admin user like you did.

    However, some software install do not play nicely with a separate Admin User install (DAZ is one of them). To get around this what I do is;

    Temporarily grant my regular user Admin rights. Then install the software with my Regular user account (now fully elevated in rights).

    Then I start up the software just to make sure that it's completely installed and intitialized.

    Then I remove the Admin rights from my Regular user.

    This usually always works. Where it might not work is if some settings files (or something else) gets installed to a folder that my Regular user does not have rights to. I have some work arounds for that (they vary by software).

    Thanks for the replies. This is the current situation: on the Start Menu, there is no DAZ for the regular user. DAZ can be launched browsing the folder and executing the file. I configured DIM for the regular user so it has got the same parametres as admin (advanced settings). After changing settings, DIM for regular user finds all the already installed assets. But despite having the same paths to a folder in D:\, Studio continues to look for some DAZ files in the personal folder under Documents, so (some) assets do give error. I am not able to find an option that has to be changed, nowhere (both Admin and User) storing path is under Documents. It seems that DAZ Studio does not fully follow how you set the folders paths in DIM, and I cannot find any setting to change those paths inside Studio.
