Posing assistance
I try to generate very simple poses (arms to the side, forward, up; legs to the side, forward, back; turn torso to left or right; head to the side or chin to chest). With the arms this is no problem, but as soon as I try to manipulate the legs in simple stepping positions, they just become non-biological positions;-). I have attached an example position. How would cameras need to be positioned?
I need to generate about 200 poses in the next 2 weeks and I would really appreciate some tips here. Thanks

Simple realistic poses are much more difficult to create than just "legs to the side, forward, back; turn torso to left or right; head to the side or chin to chest, etc."
In my humble own opinion, 200 good poses in 2 weeks is a real challenge even for a trained content creator.
First look at yourself and try to imitate your own body positions, and make one or two simple poses you really like, think of balance and gravity, search inspiration in photographs or try to imitate poses from the marketplace or free poses (you'll find a bunch of nice free pose presets at rendo, sharecg etc.).
Read or watch tutorials about posing, search the web and youtube.
Wish you a good luck!
I think you will find this product very helpful: https://www.daz3d.com/pose-architect-for-genesis-9
The product Catherine posted and similar ones look interesting, because a full pose is about balance, not only rotations.
Another thing to explore is Inverse Kinematics Google something like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=inverse+kinematics+daz+studio One important thing is to fix some of your hierarchy so you do not mess up the full pose.
