Still no support for high res displays?

latest 4.8 beta is still unuseable on high res 4k monitors. Will this ever get fixed Daz? You're the only ones left to get this sorted as far as I can tell.

There is not much use posting it here, do it at:

Not much point posting it there either. They will do nothing except note that different requests are the same and cross refer it to that. Several months will go by and then a new version of Daz will make your request irrelevant. After 3 or 4 times with that pattern I don't even bother anymore.
Personally I prefer to work at this stage with a couple of quad HD (2560 x 1440) displays; need some seriously powerful cards for ultra HD. I'd rather shift the juice it requires to rendering; although I can understand when there is a different system used for rendering. NVidia's next gen cards (and AMD's if they survive) should be idea for Ultra HD though.
I would, however, love to know how you're getting on with the new resolution.
My son had a nvidia 970 which was giving acceptable rates 30+ for games on a 4k screen. Then he got a 980Ti with rates around 45+. I use a 970 for rendering Octane then Iray. The problem with Daz Studio on a 4k screen is that the letters are only just readable so we were hoping that Daz would come up with an option to use a bigger font size in the next update. Not a huge ask you would think. I think the next screen I get will be 2560 x 1440 a more moderate compromise. As for my negative remarks I should say Daz do great products and their sales support is good. If you have a technical problem then an admin on these forums responds within a few hours which is good. I never got an answer from the IT Bug reporting system but I haven't used them for a few years because of it. They might have got better.
