Multiple selections in DS

I am sure there is a way to select and 'hide' a range of items in the Scene tab in DS, but I can't recall how to do it. Clicking each individual eye icon in turn is laborious, so I shall be glad to learn a short-cut.

    Select them all with either the Shift or Ctrl key and then in the Parameters Pane under Display turn OFF Visable. The other way is to Select the nodes you want and Create a Group. Using the EYE on the Group with hide everything inside that group.
