Warning: Reality 4.1 does not work with Vista

I recently purchased the Reality 4.1 for Daz Studio and last night I found out it won't work with Vista while it is advertised as being compatible. It installs fine, and the Reality editor window pops open fine. However when you click render frame it supposedly sends everything to Luxrender, then nothing happens. The Luxrender window never comes up like it should. No popup error either.
Doing research I found out that Luxrender 5.1 (the one that is included with Reality 4.1) won't work with Vista. I downloaded Luxrender 5.1 and I got this error when trying to run it after it installed "Procedure entry point procedure entry point getactiveprocessorgroupcount could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll" I checked and Luxrender 4.1 runs fine. Contacting Pret-A-3D I find out that Luxrender 5.1 is required for Realty 4.1 so I am up a creak at the moment. Sure I could move everything to a Windows 7 machine, but I don't have the time for setting up a new machine and moving everything over. So I will just stick with my current workflow for now. :/ Luxrender may get this fixed, but I am not very hopeful considering I checked at Luxrender.net and it is a known issue. One that was known about in the RC versions yet it still made it in the final 5.1 version.
I realize this is not Daz or the PA's fault. Just one of those bugs where everything should work and didn't. I never would have thought LuxRender 5.1 wouldn't work. They have been supporting windows XP after all. And checking their system requirements clearly says "Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista 32bit and 64bit and Windows 7 32bit and 64bit are all supported."
