Missing skin tones in renders

Help!
I am finding that the skins on characters will not render. I created one skin using one of the programs, and that seems to work fine, but the others (all caucasian) are rednering as white and featureless. It has happened in the past but usually I have simply closed DS and reopened and the renders work fine.
That is not happening now.
Having worked long and hard to create stuff I want to be able to render my images as I see them.

Are you using Iray? Does the skin have AoA settings? If yes, did you try applying the UberIray base?
Go to your temp folder, C:\Users\You\AppData\Roamong\DAZ 3D\Studio4\Temp by default on Windows, and then in the Shaders\Brickyard folder delete the contents, then try rendering again.
@Cris, Thanks, but a, I was using 3Delight, and b, I don't recall how to apply any sort of base, let alone the mysteriously-named uberIray base.
@Richard, Thanks, but I can't find that folder, I am afraid, and no 'Roaming or Roamong' in appdata/local/temp. Having said that, it is now apparently behaving, but the rendered image is not right. I am posting a new post with the difference between what DS shows and what renders, in hopes I can get the natural tones of the former in the latter.
I do frequently have this white face problem, though.
Sorry, the path should be C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\Temp\Shaders\Brickyard. The AppData folder is hidden by default, so in Windows 7 you need to enable the display of hidden files and folders in the Folder Options Control Panel applet, in Windows 8+ it's a check box in the View tab (I think) of the ribbon bar.
