Big White Dot

I apologize if this issue has come up already and been answered. I'm trying to render a basic plane mesh with textures that I've imported as an obj file.

No matter what render settings I choose I'm getting a big white dot in the center of my render.  It doesn't happen very often and is very annoying.  It

looks like it's rendering the visual cue you can see when moving the camera or the lights around in the scene.

Are you sure it isn't just a reflection of a light - the defaults for imported models can be quite glossy,

What lights have you added to your scene? Is your camera facing a light that has geometry? In this attached example, I added a spotlight with Light Geometry set to Disc. The light is within the field of view of the camera and shows up as a "big white dot" in the render. If that is your issue, set Render Emitter to Off.

In the render settings, turn off the headlight?
