Third Party Figure Won't Load

I’m having difficulty getting a third-party figure to load. I have Serena, from a vender at Renderosity named Rhiannon. When I try to apply either the body or head shape, they don’t actually load. I can see the option to load them, both as a preset and as a slider. If I click the load body preset button, the nipples and belly button get more detail (perhaps from a normal map?), but the overall geometry of the base Genesis 8 figure does not change.

I’ve made sure the files are put in the places indicated by Rhiannon’s read me text file that outlines the file structure. Also, a different third party figure (from Render Hub) is loading just fine, as is a figure from Daz. Downloading a fresh copy of the Serena files did not change the result.

I’m doing all this on a Mac Studio (32GB, OS 12.6.3) running Daz 4.21.0.5.

Any ideas on how to get the morphs to load?

    Have you checked your log to see if there are any relevant errors? These would potentially have been logged when loading the G8F (as Daz processes the morphs at that point) so you may have to scroll up a bit to check.

    I don't have that particular product so cannot check myself.

    To be clear, you have the sliders on the figure but they are not having the desired effect?

    Yes, Richard, that is correct: The sliders appear but have no effect (except for addign the small details mentioned above.)

     

    As for the error log, I did generate one right after loading nothing more than the base Genesis 8 figure, but strangely, this forum is not letting me upload it. I don't see anything amiss in the log file, but I must admit I don't know excatly what I'm looking for.

    Are there any other morphs that have the 'same name' in your collection? D/S will only recognize the first one.

    The morph files contain the name of the character -- for example, "!Serena Body INJ" -- so I'm guessing the file names are unique.

    Do you have the required; Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs and Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs?

    HA! That was it -- I had reinstalled Daz and thought I had included those, but apparently missed them. Problem solved -- thanks!
