Daz Customer Support refund ticket.

Hi guys,

Today I tried to buy CX Chimera for Genesis 9 with $21.99, then it take me to the Order Summary in a Cart ready for press on Place Order button but..., when click on the button, the product still appear in a cart. I went to look into Product Library, the character wasn't on there. So I went back to the Order Summary page and click on Place Order button again, then the red message appears said that the process error transaction show on top of the page. Then I called my sister to checked on the Bank of America account, she said now they charge me $263.88 total. I already sent a ticket and asked for a refund, so I can buy the product again. I guess this is due to the glitch on their end. So the question is, how long does it take Daz Customer Support to respond a ticket? I wanted a refund but leave $21.99 which I paid for the product I didn't receive in my Product Library. The product is still in the cart waiting for Daz Support Team to get back to me and issue a refund. 

And of course, my sister is a payee who is take responsibility for the bank since I'm a deaf and hear-of-hearing. I couldn't get an access to the bank to check on the balance how much I made a multiple purchases due to the glitch on their end. She told me she will help me call the bank to set up me account connect to the account I accident made a multiple purchase which hit the total of $263.88 Bank of America charge. 

P.S. I have bought some of the Genesis 8.1. characters before, but never have this problem before,

    Sales support is generally pretty quick, though with the major promo they may not be quite as quick as usual. I can't give a hard deadline but I would expect of the order of a couple of days, and possibly quicker.

    Moved to the Commons as it isn't actually a technical issue as such.

  • Daz said in the Gmail, that they will respond within 3 business days, so I'll wait. If not hear from them after 3 days, I guess I will have to contact State consumer protection offices and file a complaint, since I lost $263.88 the bank charges me for the error process transaction glitch on Daz's end which I did not receive the item I paid for.

    If you don't get a response by end-of-day Wednesday then send me a PM (click my name beside this post, then Message) with the ticket number and I can try finding out what is happening, but in general I would expect that not to be an issue.

    Support will solve it for you, the support is awesome here. (not brown nosing)

     

    Also, install Daz Central. Never had any issue with this manager/intstaller and it downloads the products pretty fast.

    He's not having a problem with a download from his library, he is having a problem with paying for an item and it's not in his library, it's still in the cart, even though he paid for it, repeatedly. Has nothing to do with Daz Central. Central only works if the item is in your library.

    Hi ramon73. I will wait, and guess the Daz Studio staff probably very busy helping others with issue. This is the first time I ever submit a ticket with made a multiple purchases bug/glitch issue. I was panick last night when my sister told me that Bank of America charges me with $263.88 which I wasn't aware of that "error process transaction" in the process of buying the item. The item never appear in the Product Library. So I have to wait for Daz Studio Customer Support to get back to me and help issue me a full refund for the mistake. I hope the will fix the bug where it kept saying Error Process Transaction with red message appear on top of the page when I enter the correct bank numbers. 

    Oh, and of course, I already had Daz Central installed but,  I hardly used it. Because I preferred manual installation on another 4TB SSD drive with Winrar because I don't want the file to take too many storage space which I only had 200GB SSD which is on C drive on my Windows 11.

  • Thank you Richard Haseltine, I will contact you soon on that day if I don't hear from Daz Studio Customer Support. I really want to buy CX Chimera for Genesis 9, but I am really disappoint that the item never appear in my Product Library.  It just make me feel sad and disappointed with the multiple purchases error with glitch/bug. :-(

    Ya Daz has had a few hick ups with banners and freebies and images on posts and other things, plus they are closed on weekends. If there were a lot of tickets over the weekend, it might take a little bit to catch upon all of it.

    You're correct. After I enter the bank card numbers and proceeed to buy it. Then the red message appear on top of the page show me an error process with transaction. I wasn't aware of what going on, because I thought my internet was slow but it wasn't because I was on Xfinity Comcast internet cable which is fast, never experienced with purchasing Genesis 8.1 and items before in the past months. Now I'm experience with purchasing the  CX Chimera for Genesis 9 I really wanted to buy it, but it never show up in my Product Library and also checked in the My Orders page. The item wasn't list on there either. I also did not receive the order numbers as well, so I couldn't provide the order numbers in the process of submitting a request for full refund due to the glitch.

    I only submit one ticket, so I wouldn't want to create too many to cause confusion. I will just have to wait patiently for Daz Studio customer support to get back to me (after 3 days). All I'm asking them to help with issue a full refund which I wasn't aware of the bug/glitch purchase with the bank card.

    Thank you, Richard. This is the item I really want to buy, unfortunately, the item wasn't in my Product Library and My Orders. I also don't have the order numbers due to the purchases error glitch which the bank charges me that total amount of $263.88. I will try to buy it again after the full refund, and see it will allow me to buy that item. I hope it will appear in my Product Library soon on that day. I also hope Daz team will fix the bug/glitch in the order page. I also plan to buy Half Up Romantic Style hair for Genesis 9 as well for Genesis 9 characters. For now, I'll have to wait for the full refund, so I can purchase these two items in Daz 3D Shop when everything is solve.

    Yeah, I realized that yesterday which was Sunday and Daz Staff are closed on the weekend (yesterday) when I submit a ticket, because I was panick with that huge amount of purchases with error bug. I only found out about Daz 3D on YouTube few years back when Genesis 8 released before Genesis 8.1 and 9. So I was looking for a 3D character reference for fantasy and sci-fi game game character concept design with digital painting I plan to work on for my game artbook and comic book project with the drawing idea. So this is how I discovered about Daz 3D. I never really bother with 3D art, but when come to reference, I used some Daz characters for studying pose and reference for drawing for film and game idea though.

    I've just received a respond from Daz Customer Support, and he couldn't issue a refund and said that I didn't provide him an actural Order ID, so he will be able to process a refund. Not sure how many times I have to tell him that the system did not give me the Order ID after failed multiple of purchases and the system charged me that huge amount of available balance from the bank. I sent my sister a text message to inform her that a CS told me I have to disputed with the bank. Anyway, my sister said she will call Bank of America and see if they could dispute the pending order directly from there see if goes. If not, then this mean I lost the money for nothing which I trying to get the Genesis 9 character (item) I paid for. 

    To be honest, I'm very disappointed and sad. I may not have a voice or support for this case, but I guess I will have to contact the state attorney before we can procee to file a complaint with State consumer protection offices. 

    Anyway, I guess I won't be buying anything from Daz Shop in the near future for the fear of losing the money over failed sales system due to the glitch/bug. I also told them that they need to fix the bug, because I do not want other buyers to go through the same I've been in this painful situation. I won't be coming back to read here anyway. (Signed out).

    I just spoke with my brother today and he suggested me to wait and don't contact State consumer protection offices, because the money was still in processing and will return to the bank once it posted. He said that's why the Daz Customer Support staff was unable to process a refund because the money didn't go through yet. I hope my brother was right. And I do apologize about earlier after panic, feeling disappointed and sad over the bank charges for huge amount of money. I guess I will just wait for my sister to text me once the money return to my bank account, so I can go ahead and try to order the item I was trying to buy. Hope the sale system work next time.
