If 3080TI render for 2-3 minutes, how faster would it be with an extra 3060?

If 3080TI render for 2-3 minutes, how faster would it be with an extra 3060?

Basically I have an extra 3060, but if I used two gpu, I need to buy a new psu.
I would like to know will it worth it to buy a new one.

    Well, for face value... 3080TI has 10,240 cuda-cores and 3060 only has 3,584 cuda-cores.

    In a general sense, it will be roughly about 1/3 the rendering speed. Extending that to being about 1/4 of your total speed. (3,584 is about 1/4 of the total 13,824 cores) Sooo... Maths says, you will render about 12.5% faster with that card. Probably at about the same wattage too. It will cost you 100% more in power to get 12.5% faster rendering. As opposed to getting another 3080TI, which would be 100% more power and 50% faster. (If it eases your mind, think 25% and 100% faster, but it doesn't work like that. 2x the cards of the same build, renders in 1/2 the time. Then you need 4x cards to get that 1/2 faster. Then you need 8x the cards to get another 1/2 faster. Etc...)

    If 1x 3080ti takes 1 second, then a 3060 should take about 4 seconds, which is the same power but 4x longer.

    1x 3080ti takes 1 sec
    2x 3080ti takes 0.5 sec (50% faster, or 100% by perception) {1/2 the time of 1x card}
    4x 3080ti takes 0.25 sec {1/2 the time of 2x cards}
    8x 3080ti takes 0.125 sec {1/2 the time of 4x cards} Which is about 1/8th what 1x card took

    1x 3080ti + 1x 3060 would be about 0.875 sec at 2x the power (wattage)

    There is just one benchmark for Iray rendering and it's here;

    There are a lot of GPU combinations too.
