The Install Manger and DIM are the same thing correct?

    Daz Central is sort of a simplier less flexible version of Install Manager (strictly speaking Daz Install Manager or DIM).  If you want something that you don't have to configure, opt for Daz Central; if you are going to do customization such as placing libraries on external drives etc then use DIM

    I still use DIM.  Works fine.

    Not even DAZ itself is pushing Daz Central anymore, they have changed the page "Download Studio" to one that promotes DIM instead of Daz Central.

    As above, quite a lot of us will suggest 'no go' for DC. DIM is the only best companion for you ~~ It won't set you up as long as you have it configured correctly...
