Some shorten the timeline to "1" - then make it again to be as long as you want it.
Some delete the object and then reload a fresh one.
Sometimes using the reset options works [from either the strip menu on the timeline or on the Parameters tab].
Some save a scene subset with nothing on the timeline so that can be reloaded.
Somewhere in the forums I think there is a script for removing unwanted keyframes.
    Use whatever works for you.

    @Richard
As you can see, there are triangles that doesn't even align with the seconds, can't be deleted.

    Not working

Some delete the object and then reload a fresh one.
This triangles appears right when the environment (living room) loaded.

not working, since the triangles automatically appears when the environment (living room) is loaded.

    This one works.
Well not 100%, there's stil some left over.

What are the ticks? Are they single frames or more than one frame?

  • JamesJames Posts: 1,025

As you can see on the pic, there are more than one frame that isn't align with the frame sequence.
    Let me show some examples...

But we can't see the numbers, if there are a lot of frames in rnage then the marks can be more than one frame apart, and so there can be keys that are on frames between marks.

I assume the marks you meant is the white and the grey ones, which each represents a frame 1,2,3,and so on.
Now, look at the position of the keyframes/triangles that I draw in red rectangles on the pic, their position are not exatcly under the mark / misaligned.

    This is normal:
    https://prnt.sc/bQC1tTRJpK2x
    This is not normal
    https://prnt.sc/KCsI8CZpyGV2

And somehow I can't delete the keyframes as usuall.

Not able to reproduce such an issue, but pls try to drag the Play Range bar or change the total frame number to force the timeline 'Refresh', see if it works...

Or Undock the timeframe - then Redock..

Or 'Marquee Select' all frames, delete!

Or use public build to open your scene...

Just  try whatever works for you...

Note that frames are set at ticks, not frames, so a script might mis-align them. YOu should still be able to marquee select the keys.

It wasn't possible to see the numbers in your original images, so I couldn't be sure that each tick represented a single step rather than multiple.

The script works 100% to delete all keyframes.
Thank you for pointing it out.

In the future, keep in mind that some key frames can come from another source which is adding them. That will have the effect of replacing the key frames as fast as we delete them. So we have to find that source and delete the keys from that.

The images are so zoomed in it was hard to tell exactly what the issue was.

Another tip is to open the hierarchy of the item with the key frames to see what they are - instead of the solid triangle, get all the way to the actualy keys, which will have either a T, C, or L, telling which interpolation is being used.

Also, we can right-click the Timeline tab heading > Clear Animation > Several options to choose from.

Nonetheless, I'm glad that the script helped. Happy animating!!!
