How to join 2 animated scenes??

I have two scenes which both have 30 frames of animation and I want to join one to the other. I tried merge but this just places one on top of the other so the animations are overlayed. I want one to follow the other. Is this possible?

Pls try - Select the figure in 2nd scene, Save as Pose Preset (Animated Range), then selecet the figure in 1st scene, set Total Frames to 60 on Timeline, go to frame 30, load Pose Preset.. Vice versa.

That's almost exactly what I did after failing to find a way to append one scene's timeline to the other. I used Properties Preset rather than Pose Preset (I have some idea that Properties Preset saves morphs better, but I might be wrong). Anyhow, thanks for confirming my solution.

  • Aren't Dartanbeck's new techniques all about doing this?

I've been absent from DAZ activity for a few months so I don't know what techniques you are referring to.

Yeah, I found that thread after your last post but I'm not much wiser. Is there a product/course or is it all still in development? Looks to me on first reading like it is all about aniblocks - maybe that is the way to do what I was trying to do?

Yea, Properties Preset is a must if you also animate 'Shapes' yes
