Masterclass is Trademarked

I have been a member of Masterclass for several years. Noticed DAZ studio using the trademarked name. One of multiple places is a sublink under the site header navigation link COMMUNITY. May want to rethink that one. Scroll to 4 Intellectual Property Rights and the second paragraph reads: The MasterClass name and logos are trademarks and service marks of MasterClass (collectively the “MasterClass Trademarks”).Here is the site holding the trademark notice for Masterclass.

No. Yanka Industries have A few trademarks on "M Masterclass". Their applications to "Masterclass" have all been abandoned.
Which you can easily confirm at the US Patents and Trademark Office: https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=toc&state=4810:zookwo.1.1&p_search=searchss&p_L=50&BackReference=&p_plural=yes&p_s_PARA1=&p_tagrepl~:=PARA1$LD&expr=PARA1+AND+PARA2&p_s_PARA2=Masterclass&p_tagrepl~:=PARA2$COMB&p_op_ALL=AND&a_default=search&a_search=Submit+Query&a_search=Submit+Query
You may also notice that there are a lot of other trademarks containing the term "Masterclass", which are NOT owned by Yanka Industries.
But the trademark is not dead. If the original owner is using it you can encounter legal problems.
Similar to copyright law, you are not required to register a trademark.
Look closer. The "Masterclass" trademarks are dead, the "M Masterclass" aren't. Yes, the extra letter IS important.
Thank you for that info. I found it very informative. But because I like to hear it from the horses mouth too, I emailed the attorney for masterclass trademark, Jessica Rothstein, to get verification that what you are saying is correct. In advance my apologies for the mistake.
