There is a bar down the street from me called Stardust Lounge which was featured in a movie. I can't remember which movie unfortunately, but it was like one of those wow moments when I saw this product in the DAZ Shop!

Filmap — Adventureland Greg Mottola. 2009 Stardust Lounge...

So anyway, when I saw this new environment from Stonemason I just had to put it on my Wishlist.

I can see so many possibilities for this awesome Cyberpunk saloon, and I can't wait to purchase. Unfortunately I have a budget. blush  But soon!

If anyone can remember the movie this lounge was in, please let me know. I wish I could remember. It was like a 4 star movie from the early 2000's.

But the lounge is kind of the central gathering point in the movie, and it does have some big name stars in it. My memory is fading. wink

Can I get the DAZ sleuths on this?

Oh wow. Amazing what a Google search can produce! Adventureland was the movie I was trying to recall.

    • Parts of the movie Adventureland were filmed in Moon Township at the Stardust Lounge.[37]
    • Parts of the movie The Silence of the Lambs were filmed in Moon Township. Several Moon Township police officers had minor non-speaking roles as extras in the film.

The house with the basement in Silence of the Lambs is in this area too. Kinda creepy!

And who can forget this movie? Filmed in this area too. I met George Romero back in the early 80's at his studio in downtown Pittsburgh. My dad dragged me there because I was taking a film class and he knew George Romero. All I can remember is the room that he had filled with tons of film equipment (pre internet and digital video), but he was very gracious to offer to meet with us. Really nice guy. And a film legend! He started the whole zombie craze!

Fantastic product, way overpriced for me. Into the wishlist and wait two years when it's on sale for 7.99.

Stardust Saloon looks great. I love the booths, the set clutter, and the open door, but I'm outta tokens. Thanks for the movie trivia. I'll take 'Where is the Stardust Lounge' for $200, Alex. Looks like the owner of the lounge needs to buy some vowels.

I think the name 'Stardust' was used by a lot of bars, diners, and motels, especially around air bases and Los Angeles in the 40s, 50s, 60s. Driving around the western U.S. you run across them all the time if you get off the interstates.

When I saw this futuristic one that kept the theme going, to heck with how few tokens I had, it hit my cart with a bang!

    Thank you Stonemason.
