Product Installation Issues

First: I am reasonably competent computer USER, but I am in no way a programmer.

That being said, I recently purchased DAZ Original's Melody Hair, along with the two expansion packs.  The base prop itself is visible in my Content Library, but not in my Smart Content (even if I clear selection by clicking on the blank background).  Selecting the prop does not show any material options from the base or expansion sets.  However, my Install Manager shows that they are installed.  I have even gone so far as to completely erase all DAZ folders from my computer (not just uninstall), and re-install everything from scratch.

Also, I recently purchased Bryce 7.1, along with a couple of content packs.  When I did my re-install, the Install Manager says that I need to do something with Apps in my Settings tab to access those content pieces.  I see Bryce in my Applications, but I'm not sure what sort of connection I'm supposed to make.  What I tried didn't work.

    Only newer products using the D|S meta data formants will show in the Smart Content tab..Melody Hair only shows in my content library as well i'm going to assume its too old to have MD.

    As for Bryce without seeing the specifc message its giving you I can only guess. I believe its wanting you to go into the Settings tab and either A) point it to the plug ins or B) they are plugins that need the serial numbers imported? All serial numbers are on your account page, if anything has one you'll find it there.

    Hi LKB....if you see check marks next to the product in Install Manager's installed they should show up, no check marks and they won't. That is my experience with Smart Content.
