Iray Decal Nodes in Daz Studio: Is there a Good Summary of How to Customize?

Greetings.  In the 'Create' menu at the top of Daz Studio interface, there is an option to create a new Iray Decal Node.  Is there a good summary of how to customize one?

    If there is one thing Daz is severly lacking is to explain/ provide guidance on how to use their products. Most tutorials if not all are made by users, and they're mostly irelevant now because they are so old.

    I watched this video by Jay  WP guru  and it gave a good grasp for the basics of understanding decals.

    Just dont change the opacity value from 100% if you are using an opacity map, or it will break under certain lighting, as daz still hasnt fixed that bug
