Gescon shows up in my trust 4.10, but not in 4.15 or 4.21. Does it need to be installed differently for the newer programs?

It installs into one General release and one Beta version at a time, taking the paths from the Installation path for 32- and 64-bit Software Base in DIM Advanced Settings. If you have more than one version of the General release installed (different paths, I presume?), it sounds like you have to change the path and re-install for each. Of course, DIM will not let you install something more than once, so you might need to get creative. (The same would apply to any add-on plugins installed after the first version)
(Pure theory follows:) If you uninstall Gescon (just the plugin part, not the content), and it is not where it was initially installed (i.e., you re-named the Studio folder), it shouldn't be touched, but it should then be available to install again to the another version of Studio after changing the Software Base path. Maybe simply deleting the manifest (might be safer to rename it, just in case) from the Manifest Archive and refreshing DIM will make it available to install again.
Thanks for the details. I will check the pathways of the latter versions.
Just had the same issue in DS v4.22.0.1, but in my case it was something really simple - I had to register the plugin by adding the SerialNumber. I blame myself, but it would have been nice if that was mentioned somewhere. It may be described in the PDF, but I wouldn't know because I can't find that file anywhere, and it is not included in the 'installed files' list.
Since you have it working in v4.10, I presume you did this correctly, so this may not help you, but it could save someone else a little frustration, especially if they are a little thick in the head like me.
NOTE: While writting this reply, I decided to go hunt for that PDF, and I found it - but only in the ZIP file. I've searched my install drive for that file and it is not there, so I feel a little better that I'm not the one who dorked that up. And of course the very first thing they mention in that PDF is "Registering" the plugin. DOH!
