Top Header,  Bridges quietly replaced something.  Not saying what. But it is an interesting observation.

I cannot even get DIM to work properly (can install content not programs) so I am in the dark

It's still there, just moved and hidden. Look in the large pane to the left, it's the second option.

On Mobile I can't see it at all. Welcome change, for sure.

You mean the DAZ Studio 5 to Omniverse "soon"?

The stuff that started with an "N" and there was "F" and "T" in there too.   Used to be in the top header, but now NFTs gone.  And replaced by the Bridges.

So that fad came and went.  Just as predicted.

I really hope that it means they are getting more serious about deveolping the bridges and making them more complete solutions. They actually have links to Download the "How to" PDF for each bridge. I don't recall seeing and easily accessable documentation before.

They did have a section in the knowledge base, on the Help page linked at the top of almost every page on the site.

Have you tried to download the new blender bridge update? It's now gone from the file send to section for me after updating and it's -1kb in DIM after installing. Tried daz central and no luck either. Just wondering if this is a just me issue or if others are experiencing that too. Just curious what the new updates are.

I just installed it not an hour ago and it works fine.

Hmm, okay then it's a me issue somehow. Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep working at it and see if I can figure out what the problem is!

I still wish DAZ would invest more into getting content INTO Daz Studio instead of out of it.

Does anyone know whether the new bridges (are they actually new/updated?) can export figures with geografts yet? I know that Diffeomorphic can (to Blender, of course) but I haven't tried anything else.

If I click on the link for the Unity Bridge Guide on the readme page for the Unity bridge I just get a page saying Forbidden.

I guess I was so used to avoiding looking at it I didn't notice cheeky like trying not to notice a zit on someone's nose while chatting

Whilst that would be nice, how would it help Daz to make money? On the contrary it could hurt their earnings if people get their content from other places rather than here.

The ad copy for the updated Blender bridge said it had "updated support" for geografts, but I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say specifically.

The geografts import, but I can't get the figure to pose in the pose I want. I keep getting an error. I found Diffeomorphic easier to work with (once set up) and has more options.

That's weird, just the other day or the one before that, I accidentally tapped on it on my iPad and that section was still there... I had forgotten about the "Retaliatory Monkeys" thing and was surprised to still see it there too... and now it's not there... none of it...

Maybe now they'll focus a little more effort on the forum software...

Naah... I'm kidding, I know they won't... this is our life now.

I've noticed the Nando's Food Takeaway advert has disappeared. It was all rather redundant, because I can't see how a Nando's sent from Salt Lake City would still be edible by the time it got to North Kent, UK. And if they used a local delivery company having contacted them by electronic wireless telephony, it'd be inedible by virtue of the fact it was cooked by Brits.

    Regards,

    Richard.

It's delivered by email, and the buyer can then print it for their personal use.

If one intends to share the food with ones offspring or spouse, one needs an additional printing license

I knew there was a reason I hadn't bought it - apart from the fact I dislike Nando's. I'm allergic to the resin from my 3D printer, and my skin stings for 24 hours after touching the solid resin.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Nah, they've jumped on the latest fad -- A.I. everything.  laugh

At least this one has a chance of producing some useful tools for us, unlike certain unmentionable things.
