Have tokens been removed?

I was getting ready to do another purchase but the option to apply the 8 tokens I earned 2 days ago is missing and no mention of earning any with the purchase I am contemplating?
Anyone else have that issue or did I just buy too much stuff from Daz lately?

Yes, tokens went away midnight (utah time) on June 30. There were a couple of threads where this was discussed.

And they are back...
How long are the ones we earn today good for?
I have five, presumablty from my order on Friday, that expire at the end of Tuesday. That would extrapolate to today's ending on Friday night, though I don't actually know that. But it is how they worked before.
I have eight, which corresponds to my purchases on Thursday at 9PM Daztime and Friday at 4PM Daztime, lost ten...
Edit: If they work the same as last week, tokens earned today 9PM Daztime, should be valid until end of Saturday Daztime.
Yes, but I wondered if anybody earned any today so we could tell if it was the same or not.
This is confusing. They wiped out everyone's accumulated tokens, and then started over accumulating new ones, without telling anyone?
I think sales dropped too much during the weekend, but cutting expiration dates first and then starting again after the weekend without one word from Daz...
I've still got my tokens from Friday, expiring at the end of Wednesday (06:00 UTC Thursday)
The ones I earned from a purchase today say they will live until Saturday 8th 6:00 UTC - so that's the same as before I believe?
Thanks. That is the information I was looking for.
Tokens need to go away, for good, just sayin'...
I get that newer customers think that they are the bees knees, but for those of us with extensive libraries already, it's just a way to punish longtime customers who only shop occasionally. As a regular customer of Daz since 2017, yeah I've done less shopping at Daz this year than any previous years BECAUSE of the token system. The fact that I did any shopping at all last month, and played the token game at all, was because one sale in the middle of the month lined up with my wishlist, with 'just good enough' deals to earn some tokens, but yeah other than some June Daz+ deals I've simply given up on 'straight up' deals from the Daz sales team.
I'd be MUCH more responsive to 'straight up deals' rather than this cart jenga nonsense, which the tokens just exascerbate, and if you are a less frequent shopper, you are penalized for 'not playing the game'. Sure shopping at Daz3D.com has always been a bit 'gamey', but it's too much of a game now.
SOME of us would like to focus more on rendering and less on cart Jenga and having to check the Daz website EVERY SINGLE DAY for deals... this is one thing that a certain competitor does much better, I can go there once or twice a week and don't feel like I missed out on anything, and I simply don't have the energy for cart jenga EVERY SINGLE DAY for the rest of my life!
/steps off soapbox
Except that one doesn't have to play the game to get the same kind of discounts here that are available on the other stores.
Ok, the game is a pain in the behind, but how often does one even get 80% off on the other stores, not to mention over 90% off?
I had 25 that disappeared on July 1st then 3 appeared out of nowhere today. It would be nice to get at least 8 out of my 25.
Pulled the trigger an hour ago and the earned tokens are expiring at the end of Saturday Daztime
I get uncomfortable when this type of argument is raised as I'm not sure it's valid for a store that practically lives on 80-90% discounts through sales, vouchers, tokens or the like. (For US readers, I guess comparisons to the business practise of Bed, Bath and Beyond could be made).
On the one side of the topic, there seems to a new maximum discount sale here every week. Real world equivalence, it's almost like Daz is the Dollar Store/Poundland/One Euro store of the Daz/Poser world. I'm sure it goes back to the human failing of greed. "Oh, look at all the shinies. And they're so cheap." The ethics and morals of marketing and sales is a really grey area as you come here for one or two items and after one run through the sales section, the website has picked at your greed and you now have 15-20 cheap items, most of which you either didn't know existed or want. But you've probably also spent 3 or 4 times as much as you originally wanted to.
And the other aspect, looking around at the other stores, you ask who else gives these levels of discounts. Maybe the question is why don't they take this approach ? Some of the artists here have stores at those other sites so the quality of product doesn't vary. Yet sales at those other sites remain in the 30-50% reduction mark.
Just noting that what I consider my best Daz shopping day ever, back in 2018, predated this whole token thing. I had over 200 items in my cart that day, and was impressed that the cart didn't crash, and was happy with what I paid. A number of items in said cart were in the 25 to 50 cent range, admittedly older items but still...
And I followed up that with another cart with over 150 items a day or two later. Back in the day when March Mehness was worthy of the title March Madness...
My point is that there are a number of ways to approach sales, and 'in the old days before tokens showed up' we could often get similar or better discounts than what this token thing is doing now, without having to buy $80 of stuff first and then hope that a good deal would come along in the next four days. And yes, sure there were sales where you needed to buy a pro bundle or whatever (that hasn't changed), but the deals on those bundles were actually pretty good.
Something that would make Tokens more 'longtime Daz shopper friendly' would be to extend the expiration date. To reference that other site again, they have a rewards program where the rewards points DO NOT EXPIRE as far as I can tell. I'm just saying that it wouldn't be the end of the world if tokens didn't expire. I'd rather not have to deal with tokens to begin with of course, I like the 'old way' of doing things better.
Discounts have already been lowered to 'offset' said tokens btw, and prices have also crept up. And sure, 90% here (if you can arrange it) is cool, but the base prices on other sites are also often significantly lower, so 70% there can get you in the ballpark of what you may be spending here. and 50-70% off here (which is more common) doesn't go as far as 50-70% there, BECAUSE of the higher prices, which aren't 'newb friendly', I feel for the person that spends full price for anything here, but I'm sure it happens often enough.
Anyways, my point is that previous 'deal structures' were more 'occasional shopper friendly' than the token system is now. I get that the Daz sales team loves the Nvidia CEO mantra 'the more you buy, the more you save' (insert Jensen Huang meme here), but I stand by my assessment that the token system punishes longtime Daz customers that now have extensive libraries and only shop occasionally now. It seems like since the Daz sales team has the attitude that people that have been shopping here for years don't matter to them.
This is probably falling on deaf ears though, I'm not sure why I even bother...
Or - if theer is soemthing you want today you will get a potential discount you can use against anything you happen to want over the following four days.
Kind of moot since I have yet to earn a token. I started the year with $150 in store credit and still have $20 YTD. I was spending $1,500+ every year but Daz jacked up the prices and went Scrooge on sales. Doesn't help either the vast majority of new products are copies of what's already been done. I don't need more of the same so why buy.
Funny as heck, but sadly true.
