Nope ~~ and I don't think there'll be any aniBlock product for G9...
Just being curious here but is there any particular reason which led you to conclude as much? Reason I ask is because I started messing with this somewhat recently and creating such blocks is relatively easy, "sorta"; context obviously applies here.
My speculation is based on :-
1) There was no new pure aniBlock product of G8.x for appr. 1 more years, let alone 0 pure aniBlock product for G9 up to now ...
2) Most of popular / latest animation products (G8/G9) were made for direct use on Timeline... for instance, some new animation products from Havanalibere etc....
3) G9's ‘new bones / spines system’ (in line with industry standards) makes it easier than before to bring 'animations' from other resources on G9,as well as the enhanced FACS.
4) In term of manipulting animation itself, the hierarchical skeleton, the management of bone rotations have changed in G9, so maybe better go for a new way for both of PAs and users...
5) Finally, aniMate2 plugin is a bit out of date...or left behind though it's easy to use for some cases... I myself nowadays only make animation with Blender + DDI...
IMHO...
Thanks for taking the time to share, very much appreciate it and I even learned a few new things. As I mentioned I started experimenting somewhat recently and never did realize some of the things you obviously noticed. And I can definitely agree with aniMate2 being somewhat dated.
Yea, but I know some 'old timers' are still using these 'old techniques' no offense... and they have my respects...
What about DAZ Horse 3? Is that likely to have animations? Cheers
I haven't seen any single animation product for Daz Horse 2+ from Daz3D store... not sure if there'll be animation product for Daz Horse 3+... Let's make it move by ourselves !
