Carrara Challenge #67

Lookin' Out My Backdoor

Your Challenge should you decide to accept is to render all the things what Jim Fogerty sings about or just one, the choice is yours.

here are some of the lyrics for you to imagine on.

'Imagination sets in, pretty soon I'm singin'

Doo, doo, doo, lookin' out my back door

There's a giant doing cartwheels, a statue wearin' high heels
Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn
A dinosaur Victrola listening to Buck Owens

Doo, doo, doo, lookin' out my back door

Tambourines and elephants are playing in the band
Won't you take a ride on the flyin' spoon?
Doo, doo doo
A wondrous apparition provided by magician

Doo, doo, doo, lookin' out my back door'

Prizes:
Internets Points are up for grabs.... more renders more internets points

Let Your Imagination Go Wild

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lookin'_out_My_Back_Door

"Lookin' out My Back Door" is a song recorded by the American band Creedence Clearwater Revival. Written by the band's lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter John Fogerty, it is included on their 1970 album Cosmo's Factory.

The song's lyrics are filled with colorful, dream-like imagery was actually written for his then three-year-old son, Josh. Fogerty has also said that the allusion to a parade passing by was inspired by the Dr. Seuss book 'And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street'.

@Headwax - way to start us all off with a complete scene.  Amazing work, and fast too.  Definitely captures the spirit of the theme.

@Bunyip - Is that 3 WIPs already?  Tremendous!  The elephant playing the coronet is priceless.  CCR would be proud.

Early WIP - Conjuring up what is outside the back door.  A back yard is all so far.

This is also a test of trying to use the gallery to post WIP without actually publishing in the gallery.

So, first up, I inserted a terrain and used the plateau filter to get a relatively flat back yard.  I inserted a vertex grid to grow Carrara hair on for some grass clumps.

And I used a shader mixer, with an environment/slope blender to separate the flat and hill areas to blue and red.

And then I can experiment with terrain shaders for the flat yard and the distant hills.  Still early.  Just experimenting.
