Hello everyone, I have some questions about VGA with DAZ

First of all sorry for my not so good English, hope everyone understands.
1. In the picture is my VGA performance when rendering (RTX 3070 card), I use render using CUDA core (No CPU usage - 13600k because I find it doesn't help with speed and slows down the PC). I see a lot of people saying that VRAM is very important when rendering but my VRAM always uses 0-1GB/8GB  in most scenes (while Ram uses 16GB/32GB). I really wonder!

2. I'm looking to speed up my RENDER, this is important because it's a long-term and paying job. I want to ask experienced people about using 2 VGA, if adding 1 more card (eg 3070), how much % can the render speed increase? If I add another card (not 3070), how effective is it? Or should I replace it with a more powerful card like the 4070ti (My budget is only that). In addition, the power consumption in my place is not a big problem (it doesn't matter).

Thanks for all your advice !

    1) In your SS, you should've selected GPU 1 other than GPU 0... but strongly recommend using GPU-Z to observe the performance of your card.

    2) It depends on the scene.... but based on a same benchmark scene, if you go for rendering it with Dual 3070 cards, it'll double the performance, i.e. save appr. 50% rendering time. Certainly you may go for Ada GPU ( 4070Ti ) which is even better in terms of performance.. my gut feeling, around 65% time saving...

Thanks for the answer you are very clear, i would like to ask if i use 4070 ti together with 3070 on the same system will it work? I heard that DAZ only needs cuda cores without NVIDIA Link or SLI technology ?

    1) 3070 + 4070Ti will work together as long as they can get enough rated power from PSU. 2) More or less that's right, let alone NV Link socket is not supplied on Ada card. NVlink is mostly used for pooling VRAM to support rendering so-called 'big scenes' with better performance as well. Without NVlink, the 'VRAM consumption' will be allocated to separate GPUs, so no worry...
