Saving SubD levels only

I was wondering if this was possible, and how to do it. I want to save the SubD levels as an option, not as the base character settings. Gen2M loads with the 1 SubD/1 SubD Render settings, but I want to change this to 3 (which I have)/3 to have details pop out a little more if the customer wants to use it.
I've tried to save it as a shaping or material preset, but it doesn't give me the option to only choose the SubD setting.
Any tips on how or if this can be done would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried saving it as a new figure or maybe a character preset? I have not tried this for this purpose, but just an idea.
No, I wanted this as an addition to a product...I don't think new figure would work. Haven't tried a character preset, but I'll see if that works. Thank you!
Save it as a subset; add a folder to your library and place it there, can load it with a click.
EDIT:
... well a double click.
Well they want it as a setting, so I think a scene subset wouldn't work either. Thats like loading a figure I would imagine. I initally thought they wanted a sub-d figure and super sub-d figure but now I realize they want to change the sub-d as wanted.
I would just teach people how to change it manually if there is no easy preset for it. I have to change sub-d all the time it's not impossible to learn if that ends up being the only route.
Well just changing it is moving the slider; pretty straightforward.
But I thought they meant for a specific product, so saving the product with the sub d as required is easy enough, especially if it doesn't have it automatically applied.
Hi Darwin. I remember I had the same issue when developping my "Soldiers Of Magic" product. I wanted people to be able to swap subdivision levels with a user interface file. I had a look at what was written in the duf file, and the way it was written there was no way to make such a duf file. So at the end in the product I had included 2 figures : the normal rez, and the high rez. Today, I wonder, maybe this could be made by a Daz script. But with a duf, I never found the how to, and I would say this is not possible.
Thanks everyone. With how busy I've been, I haven't had time to comment. I hadn't found another way either, so I'm going to let it drop for now.
