DS Content Library Images 101

I have no doubt that this has been discussed previously but I am unable to find anything on the subject using the search. I apologize for any duplication of posts. If there is a thread that describes this information, please feel free to link that thread and I will study it!

I have attached an image to provide a visual reference for what I am trying to describe (I am attempting to add the image. It seems to just sit there on uploading). I am trying to figure out how to clean up my content library and include images for files. Unfortunately, adding third-party files is a mess. However, even some DAZ PAs do not follow the proper folder structure or include images.

How do I add images like you see in the image? You'll see the character image in place of the folder icon, the character image for the file, and the popup image when you hover over a file.
What is the proper format (size and dimensions) for the png? Will a jpeg work?

Thank you for your assistance!

See if this linked image will work...

Unfortunately, the image didn't attach. You might try a browser such as Chrome. I've had success there.

I am using chrome but the dang image still isn't uploading. It just sits there on "Uploading..."

Restarted and tried adding image... Same problem...

Attachments are borked at the moment and have been for a while now.

Some says that attachments work better around Daz midnight, or at least that is my experience.

You can also use an external host, and just link to it here.

But it would be nice if Daz could get it fixed.

For filename.duf the main thumbnail, shown in the content panes, is a 91 pixel square png named filename.png. If you want a larger image in the tooltip then that is also a PNG, 256 pixels square, named filename.tip.png.

For folders, you need a 91 pixel square PNG named foldername.png in the same folder as the folder itself (e.g. in /people/genesis 9/characters/ for characters).
