Light Gels in 3Delight?

I'm working on a render where a character is holding a lantern with patterned glass and I want to have the pattern color the light on my character. I'm seening several Iray products that will do this, but is there any way to do this in 3Delight, since I can't use Iray(I'm AMD not Nvidia)?

If not that's cool, just be nice to know so I can stop trying.

As soon as I made this post I figured it out, but now the colors being projected are inverted compared to the pattern of the gel... Anyone know why? Inverting the gel doesn't fix this.

Somehow you posted identical threads at the same time. We're removing the dupes.

White in the opacity map blocks all light, black done. The colour of the gel map determines which colours are blocked - if you block red then green and blue get through, giving a cyan light.
