Wondering how folks find this; is it worth it?

As it seems to load automatically, it is difficult to say. Having said that, I've been a little surprised when I see that people have moved on to G3F/V7 because she bends better. I hadn't noticed that my G2F has anything weird about her bends so that might speak to the effectiveness of the product.

By the way, I don't use G3F/V7 because I have no content, no characters, no spare cash to buy them. Nor any compelling reason to, from what I can see.

I use it all the time. It improves her bends quite a bit, especially for her problem joints like her elbows. I almost think its a required item for G2F.

I've got both ideal beauty and ultimate natural and while Ideal beauty was good for about a year, once Ultimate natural came out i stopped using it. Ideal beauty does have dials for different areas, where ultimate natural does not. But Ultimate natural looks a bit better so I stick with that now. I did get my money out of Ideal beauty though.

I never did get beautiful bends though.

G3F does have much better elbows for example over G2F by default. It's night and day. However the various bend tools go a long way to correct that for older generations. Thats why people stuck with V4, she had bend morph fixes before Genesis even came out. A well morphed V4 kills the stock genesis. But a stock G3F would beat a stock G2F. And G2F had some bend improvements over G1. Just depends on how attentive to detail you are and if your characters have exposed parts, and if it impact your type of work at all. (if you render scenes with 20 people, those elbows aren't a big deal...)

I have ultimate natural as well. I prefer beautiful bends because I can use it on all my G2F characters. Ultimate natural is character specific I believe. Beautiful bends also has individual sliders for the seperate joints in addition to an all morphs slider. As for looks, I havent really made a comparison. Ill have to do a side by side render and check back in.

yep ultimate natural confused me at first because it is directly linked to a shape. Once I figured that out i figured a workaround for it :)  (you can create a reverse V6 morph, so you can dial in the V6 body you normally wouldn't want, as well as the Reverse V6 morph so they negate each other. Your shape remains the same, but now Ultimate will work on your character.)

I originally had the V6 one and used that for everyone, and would just dial it down if it was too strong for certain characters or poses.

Then I picked up the Olympia one recently when it was on sale and I use that depending on the figure.

What is tough with products like these is you can't compare them directly against each other unless you buy them, so I never got beutiful bends cause it came out too soon after I got Ideal beauty and I felt Ideal beauty was good enough at the time.

This confuses me - I have BB but I I've never used any slider. I thought that the bend morphs were applied automatically to any G2F figure. Perhaps I do have sliders but don't recognise them as BB sliders? Do you have a screen shot?

Shaping Tab > Actor > Full Body > People > Real World > Beautiful Bends. I usually set "Disable All" to zero and that will apply all of the morphs. You can also set the individual bend morphs for whatever limb it is that your posing if you dont need them all.

Well, I never knew that was there. I can't find a Readme for the product either.

I looked at mine and all are set to -100 (including Disable All) - no idea what that means though.

-100 means that they arent active. Set the individual morphs that you need to zero to apply them or just set "Disable All" to zero to apply every morph. Try it, youll see quite a difference in your poses.

Embarrassing! All this time I thought I had active bend morphs.

    Thank you :)

I was quite happy with G2F as it was - now I'm going to be even happier. Is there a Readme that I missed? How did you find the controls and what the values mean?

Honestly, I dont remember. I probably just stumbled upon them at some point because I dont remember any documentation either. Im glad I could help. They make a huge difference!

    Thank you for this.

When I have a preference, it seems BB is better, but it is subtle and I could only tell the difference of half the images.

Is there specific areas it is more noticeable?

So I dont know if youve had a chance to review the comparisons that I made. I really think that each product has its advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage that beautiful bends has over ultimate natural is that it includes many individual sliders as opposed to just one "on/off" slider. Really you would do fine with either product though.

The differences are really subtle. Test_5 shows what I think is one of the largest differences and that is in the elbows. I like the BB elbows better. Another big difference can be seen in Test_2/3/4 and that is with the buttocks. I think that the UN bend is more realistic but I noticed in Test_5 that the undercut that it creates in the inner thigh and hip area is not quite as refined as the BB undercut. I wish that they had made individual sliders for UN because I think that combining the two with different slider settings really would have been top notch.

BB also did more shaping with the wrists and ankles which you cant really see at all in the renders. Im not positive that UN made alot of changes to those areas. I also forgot that BB comes with bonus skin MAT's and poses. Maybe some lights as well but I dont remember.

However if you look at the leg bends where the calf meets the back of the thigh I think that the UN morphs look better. Again, if you have full bends on the arms and legs, I like BB better.

Really I think it just comes down to usability which in my opinion, BB is the better product.

Thanks for the comparision screens both look a lot better than default, so I don't think users of either product are really losing out. I was able to get the Olympia Ultimate natural on sale for really cheap and very satisfied with it. Most of my characters are curvier and I think it works well for that.

Ahh well, wish-listed. Can't remember the last time I bought something for standard price.
